Destroy everything!

Attack of the 50ft Robot! is a free game by students at DigiPen Institute of Technology, but don't think that there's anything amateurish about it! The title is fairly self explanatory - you control a 50ft Robot, and have to attack everything!

Attack of the 50ft Robot! is presented wonderfully like an old B-movie, in black and white with a grainy picture. It's a 3rd person perspective action game, and after a short tutorial, teaching you how to use your lasers, rockets, jump and throw things, you take part in a "movie" of sorts.

There are buildings, tanks and helicopters to destroy, and the last two fight back. Some of the explosions, like the city's power station when you break it, are really impressive. As you destroy targets, more appear and the story develops. It's unfair to explain what happens but Attack of the 50ft Robot! goes from over the top to absolutely ridiculous and it's fantastic!

Attack of the 50ft Robot! can get quite chaotic at times, and some people may not like the auto-aiming lasers, but you'll forget minor problems while stomping around destroying everything you can see. Who hasn't wanted to be a 50ft Robot? Now you can!

Excellently presented Attack of the 50ft Robot! is a fantastic experience, and while it may not have much reply value, it's still a really enjoyable piece of b-movie destruction.
